With great pride and a sense of responsibility, Natstone supported yet another initiative by Anteprojectos. This year, Natstone’s participation helped promote Portuguese stone at the ESPAÇO Awards, an initiative that distinguishes the best architectural works in Portugal. The award recognizes seven categories that focus on new construction and rehabilitation. This initiative promotes works authored by architects, executed within the national territory, that stand out for their conceptual and practical excellence.
“There are 7 (seven) categories in competition: Collective Equipment, Single Family Housing, Collective Housing, Hospitality, Public Space, Young Architects, and Architectural Rehabilitation.”

“In the Emerging Young Architects category, the winner was the project Casa em Vila do Conde II; in the Public Space category, the awarded project was Parque Urbano da Cruz do Montalvão; the winner in the Collective Equipment category was the project Casal Saloio – Museu da Ruralidade; in the Collective Housing category, the awarded residence was Hoso; in the Single Family Housing category, the distinction went to Casa em Tróia; in the Architectural Rehabilitation category, the winner was Casa Kala, and in the Hospitality category, the awarded hotel was Lavandeira Douro Nature & Wellness.”
Natstone’s participation in this edition was incredible, both in the production of the awards received by architects and in the displays of the works in competition. Both were made in natural stone NLG and NMN with laser engravings and CNC drilling. Whether in the participation of Architect Diogo Malanho representing Natstone and promoting the application of natural stone in architecture and the boundaries of transformation.
Once again, Natstone stands alongside Portuguese architecture, contributing to the excellence of architects who, with their creativity and assertiveness, enhance construction in Portugal. This reinforces Natstone’s position and its production capacity, distinguished by the ability to find innovative solutions for architectural projects.
