Ammonoidea found at the NAM

It’s not often that a fossil Ammonoidea is found at the NAM during the production of a RAISED piece. These elements appear in rock formations and sedimentary layers which contain numerous fossilised remains and traces but only a tiny percentage of these dimensions, as fossilisation is considered an exceptional phenomenon.
